Spelling: Continue practicing spellings for test on Friday.

Maths: Vertical and horizontal addition.

Phonics: Write 4 'ch' words and draw a picture for each. Choose 2 of the 'ch' to put into a sentence.

**Thank you so much for bringing in wonderful artefacts from your past. If you did not get to show the class your artefacts today you will get the chance to show and tell some other day this week :)

Spellings: Please learn the 10 spellings for test on Friday (5 of the words are based on the 'ch' sound).
(Spellings are kept in the spelling folder)

Thematic Words(class based work): Children should be able to read, discuss, understand and use these words by Friday.

Children must write these words into their spelling folders tonight if they did not get this complete in class.

Maths: Complete worksheet based on numbers 11 - 15.

Phonics: Write the 'sh' or 'ch' word.


**Team Teaching: For the next 6 weeks, the children will be working in small groups with a support teacher everyday. They will be working on literacy. The children will get a new reader everyday. Reading should be practiced at home.
Please make sure that there is a pencil, ruler and red pen in your child's folder (folder labelled Team Teaching). Folders need to be in school everyday.

Welcome to Sarah's First Class Blog!

I hope everyone is settling into First Class in Room 5 :)
