Homework this week is based on researching South Korea as part of International Week. For this the children will need access to the internet at home. As a class, we have gone through what needs to be researched but if there are any problems please let me know.

  • Thursday - Spelling: Write each of the spelling words going across and then going down
Reading -  Read the passages Ali Baba (Monday) and Dippy The Duckling (Wednesday), re-tell in your own words and orally answer the questions at the bottom of the page.

International Week 22nd - 26th January

International week is taking part at the end of the month. If you would like to get involved please let us know, details are below.

INTERNATIONAL WEEK 22ND -26TH JANUARY
Dear Parents, Guardians, Members of the School Community
We will be celebrating International Week in Belmayne ETNS from Monday 22nd January – Friday 26th January 2018.
We are looking for parents and family members to come into school and get involved in our celebrations!!!
●Would you like to teach some children a traditional song or dance from your country?
●Can you give a talk about a famous artist, sports person or hero from your home country?
●Could you show us how to cook up a traditional dish from your home country?
●Are you able to teach us how to say a few greetings in your home language?

Winter Assembly

Our Winter Assembly will take place on Tuesday 19th December at 10 am.

Below is a list of costumes we need for the performance. If you have any of these items at home we would be grateful if you could bring them in this week. We will take care of them and give them back after the show.
